Legal Internship | January-June 2027

Amir-Aslani is offering a six-month legal internship from January to June 2027.

The successful candidate will work on both advisory and contentious matters, directly alongside the firm’s lawyers.

The role will include:

• conducting in-depth legal research;
• drafting legal research notes, memoranda and opinions;
• reviewing and analysing case materials;
• assisting with proceedings before French courts and in cross-border matters;
• assisting with hearing preparation;
• reviewing and drafting contracts, agreements and transactional documents;
• assisting with legal due diligence;
• preparing for and attending client meetings; and
• participating in internal working meetings.

The internship offers exposure to complex matters where legal analysis intersects with strategic, international and operational considerations.

Interns are fully integrated into the life of the firm. They work closely with the firm’s lawyers on a day-to-day basis, contribute to both formal and informal discussions around ongoing matters, and take part in events organised by the firm.

The internship is open to students currently attending a French Bar School (École d’avocats) as part of their professional training, as well as Master 2 students with a strong academic background in business law, litigation, international arbitration, private international law or international economic law.

Given the international nature of the firm’s practice, candidates must have excellent written and spoken English, ideally at bilingual level, as well as outstanding drafting skills in both French and English. The role also requires rigour, precision, intellectual curiosity and a strong sense of confidentiality.

Previous experience at a business law firm, in arbitration or litigation, or in an international legal environment would be an advantage.
